UK: Recycling company Enva has secured BSI’s BS EN 13055-1:2002/AC:2004 certification for the use of its recycled air pollution control residue (APCr) ash-based recycled lightweight aggregates in the production of concrete, mortar and grout. Enva processes 20,000t/yr of APCr and fly ash residues at its Paisley plant in Scotland. The producer already supplies its aggregates for use in the production of precast concrete blocks, drainage rings, slabs and flooring.
