UK: Breedon Group is on schedule to commission two new construction and demolition materials recycling plants in East Anglia and North West England later in March 2026. The upcoming plants will be situated at the Ashbury ready-mix concrete and aggregates plant in Greater Manchester and the Costessey ready-mix concrete batching plant in Norfolk. They will produce recycled aggregates using deliveries of stone, concrete, brick and utility products.
Breedon Group’s Circular Economy Commercial Manager Chris Burgess said "Ashbury and Costessey represent the company's first facilities focused on producing recycled aggregate from customer and operational residual materials."
Breedon already operates a network of five ‘inert waste sites’ serving its quarry restoration and landfilling activities in the UK.
