US: Sewell Brother Ventures has applied to build a new ready-mix concrete batching plant at a site outside Harlem in Georgia’s Columbia County. Local press has reported that the plans entail rezoning of the site. The company intends to produce concrete for supply to local non-residential projects. The development will also include a recycling centre, with a total investment cost of US$2m.
