Australia: LS Precast has won a contract to supply 96,000 precast concrete segments for a 16km section of the Melbourne Suburban Rail Loop. The elements will comprise a section of twin tunnels running between Cheltenham and Glen Waverley stations. Australian Manufacturing Forum News has reported that LS Precast will begin producing 170 segments per day for the project from October 2025 onwards.
